It’s amazing the lessons I’ve learned from a couple weeks away from social networks. Very few people have reached out to me even though my friend counts are a combined total of 5,600. Its okay though, I like the peace. I’m also amazed at how productive I’ve been at work and in my life. My home is clean, my car is free of junk and I’m in the gym regularly. This is a great experience.
This song still speak volumes, 11 years later. That’s what I call timeless.
My iPod was on Shuffle last night when this sound came on. It instantly took me to March 8th, 2000 (the day before my 14th birthday). My friend Rachel gave me this album as a gift. I remember thinking to myself, “I may never listen to this” I didn’t even know who the group was, never even heard of them. Needless to say, this became one of my favorite Christian Albums. This song is everything to me.
“For the Sake of the call, will you lay down your all?”
When I talk about Satan, people, Christians and Non-Christians, sneer at me as if he doesn’t exist.
How can you believe in a Higher Power that is Righteous, Jesus Christ; however, don’t believe that there is a evil antagonist that wants to steal, kill, and destroy?
Many people don’t want there to be a God because they don’t want to be held accountable for their lives.
Gets me every time!
